Final Contents Page Idea

This is my final idea for my contents page. I used colours that are similar to my front cover, meaning that the contents page does not look too unusual or random. The layout of my contents page is separated, meaning that the features are separate from the reviews. I designed a layout that is appropriate and unique for a music magazine. I added a title with larger fonts identifying that this page was the contents page, and added a variety of different fonts and font sizes when adding the additional text to the page.

The imagery used on this page is simply the bridge of a guitar that i edited using Photoshop. I used different filtering tools in order to give the image a glowing purple effect. This image now looks very effective on the contents page.
I added text identifying the particular articles within the magazine, including the title of my double page spread "Women in music". This is also effective as text entailing "women in music" is used on the front cover of my magazine. I think overall that the layout of my contents page avoids boring the reader with too much information, or overcrowding it making the page confusing to the audience. I kept it simple and effective.
